Perot Systems has entered into an agreement with China Telecommunications (China Telecom) under which both companies intend to work together to offer enhanced information technology (IT) services for the healthcare industry in China.

Reportedly, both companies have agreed to develop and go to market with an e-health platform and IT services that support the advancement of healthcare across China.

Chuck Lyles, president of Healthcare group at Perot Systems, said: By combining our leading-edge technology, data-center methodology, and deep industry knowledge with China Telecom’s network and data-center operations, the companies can create and deliver transformational IT solutions to healthcare providers.

Under the agreement, Perot Systems plans to provide a variety of consulting, management, supervision, implementation, and technical services, while China Telecom would offer network resources and support.
