Peoplesoft Inc has signed up nine manufacturing and supply chain management software companies as part of a new push into the lucrative market. Pleasanton, California-based Peoplesoft has signed up joint sales, marketing, and product integration agreements with CAPS Logistics Inc, CrossRoute Software Inc, Data Collection Systems Inc, Documentum Inc, Indus International Inc, Intermec Technologies Corp, McHugh Software International Inc, Optum/Metasys Software, and PSDI Inc. The separate tools will be integrated with PeopleSoft 7.5 through its recently upgraded Message Agent integration tool, helped by Redwood Shores, California-based CrossRoute’s Alliance integration software. The various tools range in functionality from transportation planning to bar-code automated data collection.
