PEOPLESOFT LOOK TO AUSTRALIA

PeopleSoft Inc chief financial officer Ronald Codd said the firm hopes the contract with Australia’s biggest employer will open the door for other business in that country: the contract with Coles Myer Ltd, employing 170,000, will represent the first version of PeopleSoft’s product localised for Australia; until now PeopleSoft’s international business has focused mostly on Canada, with 15% of its sales.
