Pentaho was selected to join Novell’s Open Source Partner Program, which is being announced at Linuxworld this week.
Additionally Pentaho, SugarCRM and Novell are also showcasing a new integrated business intelligence and CRM solution at Linuxworld that runs on top of Novell’s Enterprise Server and SUSE Linux operating system.
Pentaho is stewarding the Pentho BI project which pulls together open source enterprise reporting, analysis, data mining and workflow components into a integrated LAMP-like stack that is being aimed at Java developes, BI users and ISVs.
Last week a open source trio JasperSoft Inc, Greenplum In and Kinetic Networks Inc unveiled its own business intelligence stack at an open source conference in Porland, Oregon.
