Candle competitor PeerLogic Inc is expanding its board of directors with some industry heavyweights, in order, it says, to move up to the next level in a highly competitive market. The board members include Ron Brittain, ex executive vice president of Texas Instruments Software Division, Dr Jacob Goldman, founder of Xerox Corp’s Palo Alto Research Center, and Leland Putterman, vice president of BMC Software Inc, along withg representatives from The Bank of America and venture capital funders, Milstein Ventures. Privately-held PeerLogic, based in San Francisco, California, counts Computer Associates International Inc, Intersolv Corp and stakeholder Texas Instruments amongst companies integrating its messaging software Pipes within their products. It also sells direct to corporates.
