Peek Plc, London, which has amassed a string of electronic and computer properties, notably the Husky Computers hand-held micro business in Coventry, is preparing to add another to its portfolio in the shape of Polytechnic Electronics Plc, based in Daventry, Northamptonshire. Polytechnic is recommending an offer of five Peek shares or 200 pence cash for each of its own, valuing the company at UKP18m. Polytechnic specialises in electronic marin and air navigation equipment, with offices in the US, Holland, Switzerland and Hong Kong, and busines in 50b countries.
