PEEK BUY OPERATIONS UNIT FROM ELEQUIP

Peek Plc, the Abingdon, Oxfordshire traffic and field data systems group is buying again – its last move was actually a divestment: it is to take the traffic maintenance and installation operations of Elequip, a subsidiary of Silvermines Group Plc for UKP1.85m – UKP400,000 in cash and UKP1.45m of new Peek shares; Silvermines committed to hold the shares until April 1 next year; the unit becomes Peek Traffic Services.
