Docuscan Patient Registration solution with Paros technology can facilitate patients to use a digital pen to fill out the registration form in the waiting room. Using the progressive digital pen-and-paper technology, patients fill out forms as they normally would, and the technology automatically will collect and transmits the data for use by the medical office staff.
The Paros technology will integrate Anoto digital pen-and-paper functionality and character recognition from Vision Objects’ MyScripts, along with Pearson’s proven data capture technology. The digital pen can record what is being written on the unique paper that is designed and printed by Pearson. Once the pen is docked, the data are transferred into the electronic medical records systems and practice management systems with one simple click.
