Pearson VUE expects more demand with ISO 22301 accreditation

ISO 22301 combines best practices in business continuity from a number of countries.

By Amy-Jo Crowley

Pearson VUE, a business of British publishing and education company Pearson, says it expects increased demand in computer based testing after achieving the global gold standard in business continuity across four regions.

The assessment and testing company said the ISO 223301 standard, certified by SGS, will enable it to minmise down time and speed up recovery from any incidents.

The company also no longer has to wait until an incident occurs to test its effectiveness.

"We’re seeing an exciting combination of growing demand for computer based testing, particularly in newer markets across EMEA and APAC, and ever more sophisticated technology solutions in test development, management and delivery," said Bob Whelan, CEO and President at Pearson VUE.

Braden Connolly, head of Testing and Card Services at CITB, added: "Our tests are largely concerned with minimising risk on construction sites, so similarly we need a test delivery partner that is committed to minimising testing risks – be it candidate security or technical contingencies.
