Professional Datasolutions, a provider of software, hardware, and professional services to convenience retailers and wholesale petroleum marketers, has selected MKS, a provider of application lifecycle management services, to gain market share and reduce costs through transformation of MKS’s software development processes and tooling.
After evaluations of various software development tool providers, Professional Datasolutions (PDI) decided upon a unified ALM approach using MKS Integrity.
MKS Integrity offered PDI a complete application lifecycle management (ALM) service with: full traceability from requirements to test; flexible querying and reporting against a unified data model; and support for parallel development and release management.
PDI has plans to add formal Requirements Management and Test Management capabilities to its service, extending the end-to-end reach of its lifecycle automation and the value it delivers, according to MKS.
Earl Milam, vice president of application development at PDI, said: MKS Integrity is a complete, integrated, ALM service that allows PDI to spend our energy sharpening the saw instead of spinning the wheels. Since we put MKS Integrity in place, we have completely eliminated costly configuration management related release recalls, saving person-months of effort over the last three quarters.
