PC Quote Inc, Chicago has reached the end of the line alone and has hired William Blair & Co to help it explore its strategic options, including a possible sale, merger, joint venture or other financing alternatives. The company, which reported a loss of $1.1m for the quarter and for the nine months to September 30, expects to report a greater loss for the fourth quarter and a loss for the year. The online share price quotes system operator saw its relationship with Charles Schwab Corp ended on December 31 and said its relationship with Global Financial Services is also substantially winding down.
