PC Magazine says it has already tested 15 systems running on the Pentium II processor and the results will be published in the June 10 issue. In a portion of the article already made public, the study concludes that for Windows NT, the Pentium II has no equal. But when running Windows 95, the magazine says, the 233MHz K6 processor from Advanced Micro Devices Inc, matches the Pentium II clock for clock, and performs slightly better than Intel’s product when running MMX software.
