PC GROWTH SAID TO SLOW MARGINALLY THIS YEAR

Brokerage Hambrecht & Quist expects the worldwide PC market to slow to 14% growth this year and next compared with 15% in 1998. However average selling prices should remain firmer, it believes, declining 4% in 1999 compared with 7.4% in 1998.
