PC1640 PERSONALIKE TO BE LAUNCHED AT PC USER SHOW END JULY

By CBR Staff Writer

Sounds as if Alan Sugar was just teasing when he said that the PC1640 Personalike with more memory and enhanced graphics wouldn’t hit Europe until early next year: according to the Financial Times the machine, pitched at large corporate accounts, will be launched here at the PC User show at the end of next month, to be followed up by an improved version of the integrated word processor, the PCW9512, to offer true letter quality printing.
