PayByCash to accept payments via SNAP

Internet Payment Solutions has announced that, having successfully completed integration work with Teleglobal, the company will now be able to accept PayByCash payments via SNAP prepaid cards.

By CBR Staff Writer

SNAP is a prepaid card available from UK convenience stores and designed for secure online shopping, while Internet Payment Solutions’ PayByCash acts as an intermediary between providing access for new markets and assisting merchant clients seeking to improve their revenues.

Thanks to the integration of the two systems, merchant clients who have engaged PayByCash to provide alternate payment options to their customers will automatically be able to accept SNAP card payments.

According to Kevin Higgins, CEO of Internet Payment Solutions, Our relationship with SNAP is a win for everyone involved. This will be a big benefit for our digital content merchants who can now connect with an entirely new group of consumers without the fraud risks digital content publishers typically face with credit card or other reversible transactions.

Mr Higgins added, SNAP has a very aggressive expansion strategy for 2007, so we’ll be seeing this payment system provider expand into many other countries.
