PAUL ALLEN AND SPORTS ON-LINE

Microsoft Corp co-founder Paul Allen has invested in a sports statistics company as part of a plan to bring out an on-line sports information service; Allen has made an equity investment, the size of which was not disclosed, in Sports Team Analysis & Tracking Systems Inc, in return for information to be used in an electronic sports section to be launched later this year by Allen’s StarWave business.
