PATENT SETTLEMENT “COSTS MICROSOFT $100M”

The consensus appears to be that $100m will be transferred from Redmond’s vaults to the Infinite Loop over the next two or three years as part of the Apple Computer Inc-Microsoft Corp patent settlement. That’s in addition to Microsoft’s $150m investment in Apple stock. Cheap at half the price.
