PARC PLACE-DIGITALK CEO STEPS DOWN

ParcPlace-Digitalk, Inc president and chief executive officer William Lyons has resigned his position and will no longer serve on the company’s board. The company, which has lost money six of its last eight quarters, says Lyons resigned in order to pursue other interests. Eugene Goda will take over as chairman, president and chief executive. Also announced were the appointments of Ronald Clear as chief financial officer and James Smith, vice president of worldwide sales. á
