The Bilbao, Spain-based company said that the range of deployment and update options offered by its new Panda WebAdmin Antivirus package is intended to appeal to the smaller business.
The vendor points to a couple of features designed to make it easy to update the anti-virus payload. Distributed Server Internet Sharing allows computers without an Internet connection to update via the connection of other computers, while Distributed Server File Sharing lets machines that have already updated distribute the update to others.
The system will run on the most basic of 486-based 66 MHz PCs and is being offered as a free trial version that can be installed on up to five workstations and a single server for 15 days.
