PACIFICORP ACQUIRES THOMAS NATIONWIDE COMPUTER CORP

Mergers are very much the order of the day in the computer leasing business, and the latest to go is Thomas Nationwide Computer Corp in Melville, New York, which wrote $64m of business in 1986: it is on its way to PacifiCorp of Portland, Oregon for $25m upfront and up to $15m more according to performance, and will be merged with its System Leasing Corp in McLean, Virginia.
