The e-business platform will include enterprise-wide information management systems, passenger information services, train schedule and route information, e-commerce, a public project tender management system, customer relationship management services, and a security management system using internet and intranet technologies.

We value this opportunity to be of service to Guangzhou Metro for this important infrastructure project, said KC Wong, Chief Technology Officer of PacificNet. We plan to continue our efforts in building PacificNet as one of the leading e-commerce and CRM solutions providers in Asia by expanding our software development, integration services, and CRM solutions to our target markets in Asia in the telecom, CRM call center, logistics, and travel industries.

Guangzhou Metro provides mass transit railway transportation in the Chinese province of Guangzhou. It currently serves over 330,000 average daily riders on its 36 kilometers of railway and plans to expand to 181 kilometers of railway by 2010.
