Optoelectronics distributor Pacer Components Ltd has a new range of optical receiver modules for remote control applications manufactured by Kodenshi; the HC101, HC102 and HC103 devices each consist of a PIN photodiode combined with a signal processing integrated circuit and an open collector output form in a single package – they have a minimum operating range of 10 metres and operating frequencies of 40KHz, 37.9KHz and 36.7KHz respectively.
