P-E BUYS TALBOT ENGLAND FOR UKP400,000

Egham, Surrey based computer consultants P-E International Plc yesterday announced the acquisition of Talbot England Ltd for UKP400,000 in cash. Talbot England was established in 1981 and provides production engineers and organisation and method specialists to a number of clients including Rank Xerox, Lotus Cars and American Express. Turnover for the last year was UKP600,000, and the company says it expects to that its growth will accelerate as part of P-E International. Commenting on the acquisition, Len Brooks, deputy chairman of P-E said: The acquisition of Talbot England will further strengthen our technical services business and add a new strand of specialist expertise to the company.
