With an eye to the potentially lucrative small and medium-sized business sector, Australian internet service provider OzEmail Ltd and Australian web hosting company WebCentral have added an e- commerce tool to their portfolio. The tool, iNETstore, lets merchants build and maintain their own online storefronts by clicking around inside a browser interface. INETStore is rather like iMall’s Bolt On Ecommerce product (CI No 3,512) in that the merchants get to choose from a selection of store design templates. They can add their own product data and images, and retrieve orders for merchandise in a secure way. Thanks to the browser interface, no software downloads or knowledge of HTML are required.
