Other companies down in the bargain basement include Sherwood Computer, Optim and Telecomputing, but there has been recent action at all these, so they may well be fully valued at current prices: others, also going for a song although less obviously attractive except as shells – but there are plenty of ambitious teams looking to make management buy-ins out there – include Imtec Group PLc, worth UKP6.33m at 23.25 pence; Instem Plc, just UKP4.5m at 100 pence; Microvitec Plc, at 30 pence valued at just UKP8.15m; Norbain Electronics Plc, whose 26 pence tag values it at UKP1.8m, Pericom Plc, also 26 pence and valued at a mere UKP1.95m; Real Time Controls Plc at 38 pence is valued at only UKP2.66m; and Star Computer Group Plc’s 66 pence puts a value of UKP4.46m on the company.
