Through this acquisition, which was announced in August 2007, the company would gain control of two teleport sites in Belgium, Lessive and Liedekerke. The site at Liedekerke will provide an access to Europe’s Hot Bird satellite activities whereas Lessive site would enable the company to expand its presence in South Asia and Africa.
Additionally, Lessive site also conducts businesses such as internet over satellite, DVB-RCS-return channel via satellite, and internet bandwidth provision to Middle East and Asia.
In its strategy of inorganic growth, in February 2007, Org Informatics acquired 17.94% equity stake in Six Dee Telecom Solutions Ltd which provides telecom software services and develops value-added services (VAS) and products. Also, in January 2007, Org acquired 100% stake in Singapore-based IT consulting company DGIT solutions.
