ORDNANCE SURVEY CHOSES UNIX VERSION OF ORACLE

The Ordnance Survey, Britain’s official map-maker, has chosen the Unix version of Oracle Corp’s Oracle as its strategic relational database management system, following advice from Logica Plc: a digital mapping marketing system is now under development for customers such as Britishes Telecom and Gas.
