Culemborg, Netherlands-based Solidium employs 180 people and expects to generate sales of 18m euros ($22.6m) in 2005. Ordina expects to complete the acquisition by the end of next month.

The acquisition shows Ordina strengthening its application management skills after losing out to Dutch rival Getronics in the battle to acquire PinkRoccade led it to announce that it was moving out of the infrastructure management market. Ordina is in good financial health. Last month it announced strong results for the first half of 2005, with sales exceeding analysts’ expectations. Net profit increased to 11.1m euros ($13.6m), from 7.2m euros ($8.8m) in the same period the previous year, on total revenue that rose 19.6% to 216.3m euros ($264.8m).
