Last week, Orange tried to delay the construction of its Swedish 3G network. The operator has also decided to sell its stake in Italian mobile operator Wind and has ongoing problems in Germany with its MobilCom unit.
Orange is adjusting its strategy, and believes that merging the Swedish and Danish businesses with a competitor could make sense. The proposal could attract interest from Teledanmark, Telenor and Telia.
