Orange UK to sell Sony Ericsson PlayStation Phone

Will also be the smartphone’s sole network provider

Orange UK will reportedly start selling Sony Ericsson‘s PlayStation Phone which will be announced next month at the Barcelona Mobile World Congress.

Everything Everywhere, the joint venture telecom network between wireless service provider T-Mobile and mobile network operator Orange UK, is signing the deal with the phone maker.

Initially, Orange will be the only network provider for the handheld gaming smartphone codenamed Zeus. T-Mobile, which constitutes the other half of the Everything Everywhere group, will not be selling it.

The Android 2.3 device with a 4-inch screen, 854 x 480 pixels resolution, a 5 megapixel camera and 512MB RAM comes with a Qualcomm’s Snapdragon processor.
