ORACLE’S ATTORNEY

By CBR Staff Writer

If you should catch staffers from Belmont, California-based Oracle Corp cheering on the Phlippines competitor in the luge at the Winter Olympics, now under way in Calgary, Ontario, don’t think that they’re being disloyal: the Philippines’ sole representative at the sprtsfest just happens to be Raymond Ocampo, who when he is not lugeing, is attorney in charge of litigation for Oracle Corp – and what is lugeing? Oracle explains that The slider lies belly-up on a matchbook of a sled, travelling an average speed of 60mph down a diabolically twisting chute – and not surprisingly the Philippines wasn’t too sure it wanted a competitor in such a non-national sport – they don’t see too much snow down there.
