Oracle said its products are used to streamline regulatory compliance, enhance production and channel efficiencies and improve the ability to respond to changing market conditions.

Among the companies mentioned by Oracle are food and pharmaceutical manufacturer Colorcon, Israel-based generics firm Teva Pharmaceutical Industries and Hologic, a manufacturer of medical imaging systems targeted at women.

Pennsylvania-based Three Rivers Pharmaceuticals and biopharmaceutical firm Cubist Pharmaceuticals are also customers of the Oracle technology, as are New York-based Eyetech Pharmaceuticals, a company that develops therapeutics to treat eye diseases, and Telik, a biopharmaceutical manufacturer that develops drugs to treat cancer and other serious diseases, and which is using the technology to integrate manufacturing processes and facilitate regulatory compliance.
