optionsXpress Holdings has announced the availability of oX Mobile, a smartphone trading application, on both the Android and the Palm platforms.

The company said that the rollout of oX Mobile to new platforms gives retail investors a way to monitor and trade any equity, option or future, at any time, from any place and on any device. In additon, oX Mobile allows retail investors to place stock, options and futures orders from one account.

According to optionsXpress, oX Mobile provides retail investors with a navigation system and access to data and account information including, trading tools like the market-scanning Dragon; options chains; updated account balances, pending orders and current positions; quotes from personally assembled watch lists; real-time updates on the market’s gainers and losers; new market news and developments; real-time charts and technical analysis and snapshot views of all of the major global indices.
