OPTICAL COMPUTER HAS CEASED TRADING

The Optical Computer Inc subsidiary of Laser Corp, Salt Lake City, Utah has ceased trading: the company marketed computer aided graphics plotters used in engineering and architectural drafting, but after an extensive review, it was decided that that with just one product, Oprical could not compete effectively with full product lines of multiple types and sizes of plotters in the price-sensitive graphics plotter industry, while new technologies threatened to make its one product obsolete in a few years.
