OpenText has enhanced its OpenText Extended ECM for SAP Solutions to support SAP Customer Relationship Management (SAP CRM) and SAP Supplier Relationship Management (SAP SRM) applications.
OpenText Extended ECM 10 consolidates the support documents in one place and makes them available through the SAP CRM user interface. This approach will allow enterprises to improve customer-interaction efficiency.
The new release extends SAP Supplier Relationship Management with vendor collaboration and content management inside the procurement processes of an organisation.
OpenText integrates a social stream into the Extended ECM 10 which is termed as OpenText Pulse, which tracks recently added content across the organisation. It also allows people to connect to each other and see the status or content updates from across the organisation.
Extended ECM 10 also provides a tight integration with the Microsoft Windows desktop and Office applications and allows access to content via the SAP NetWeaver technology portal, and advanced OCR capabilities for scanned documents.
