By CBR Staff Writer

Openbravo, a provider of web-based open source ERP, has unveiled QuickStart 2 offering for rapid deployment of Open Source ERP for American small and mid-sized businesses (SMBs).

The company said that the new offering is build on its predecessor, which delivers standardised, streamlined implementations of core business process flows including Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, and Bank Statement to Bank Reconciliation.

The new offering is priced based on subscription and is cloud deploy-able, which provides SMBs access to the benefits of ERP including; automation and optimisation of accounting, sales order processing, inventory, and procurement processes, without the cost and implementation time lines of legacy systems.

According to Openbravo, the new offering reduces implementation time for US based companies through new setup wizards, pre-configured content and enhanced capabilities, which facilitates in setting up a chart of accounts, accounts receivable and accounts payable, and to record and report local sales and federal income tax.

Openbravo chief executive officer Manel Sarasa said that in today’s economy, businesses need to be fast and financially well-informed. Openbravo QuickStart 2 gives small and mid-sized businesses a offering that is quickly implemented and straightforward to adapt, operate and upgrade.

"This new offering for American businesses puts cash flow, the lifeblood of any business at the centre, with ready-made financial structures and content to ensure companies have all the critical business information they need at their fingertips," Sarasa said.
