3Com Corp, Santa Clara, and Madge Networks Ltd, London are forming an Open Token Foundation for manufacturers and users of token ring products concerned to ensure interoperability. Texas Instruments, Memorex Telex, NCR, Sytek, NatSemi and Western Digital are expected to attend next week’s inaugural meeting.
