ooVoo unveils new version of video communication platform

Adds news features such as desktop sharing, international calling, and text chat history

ooVoo has unveiled the new version of its multi-point, cross-platform video communication system designed to appeal to business users looking for video conferencing services that offer video with collaboration features such as desktop sharing.

According to ooVoo, the new version for business brings real-time communication services for video conferencing that allows multiple people to meet on video at the same time and also provide features such as desktop sharing during video calls. Other new features include pay as you go options, international calling, and text chat history.

The desktop sharing feature allows business users to provide their video conference participants to access their presentations or documents during their conversation. It also allows the users to share files, text chat, send video messages and record conversations.

ooVoo’s business plan comes at $39.95 a month and allows unlimited video conferences with up to six locations at one time. The pay-per-use billing is currently available for phone minutes to the US, Canada, Germany, Italy, Israel and the UK.
