Bill may be rich and famous but that doesn’t make him popular. The San Jose Mercury News reports a PC keyboard signed by Microsoft Corp chief Bill Gates, donated to a high-rolling charity auction held in San Jose last week, attracted a derisory opening bid of 38 cents. It finally went for $600 to a buyer seated at Microsoft’s own table.
