The Deutsche Telekom-owned firm has said the time has come to reassess its position, citing the curious reason of overall mobile penetration in the UK having just reached the 75% milestone.
However, according to the Financial Times, the company claims that reports of up to 700 jobs being on the line are entirely unfounded. At the same time, these cuts have not been entirely ruled out, pending the outcome of the review.
One2One intends to conduct a complete business review, the company said in a statement. This may result in a reduction of the company’s overall headcount. But One2One will be concentrating its efforts on minimizing any effects this might have.
