Semiconductor company ON Semiconductor has introduced two new multiple-channel differential switching ICs, NCN3612B and NCN3411 in single pole, double throw (SPDT) switch configurations for high frequency signals.
The new multiple-channel differential switching ICs have been developed for notebook computers, desktop computers, servers and network storage equipment.
NCN3612B is a 6-channel differential SPDT switch and has a power supply voltage range of 3 volts (V) to 3.6 V. It draws a supply current of just 250 microamps (µA).
NCN3411 is a 4-channel differential switch and has a power supply voltage range of 1.5 V to 2.0 V. It draws a supply current of 200 µA.
The 6-channel differential switch holds an on-state capacitance (CON) of 2.1 pF (typical) and an on-state resistance (RDSON) of 8 ohms (?), while the 4-channel differential switch has a CON of 2 pF and a RDSON of 7.5 ?.
The two multiple-channel differential switching ICs support 8 gigabits per second (Gbps) data transfer and have an operational ambient temperature range of -40 °C to +85 °C.
