The platform is based on OMX’s Click software, including its Trade order entry system, XT program and clearing technology Secur, and will be employed by the Exchange as a new integrated trading and clearing platform for its derivatives products.

The agreement will cover license, project implementation and support of the system over five years.

The decision to adopt OMX’s system was a result of a detailed study of the suitability of the OMX system to support our market’s needs and the fact that it is in line with our strategic focus, which is to provide our customers with efficient, and easy to access, trading and hedging opportunities, said Mr Vijit Supinit, chairman, Thailand Futures Exchange.
