AT&T Network Systems’ Omaha Works, Westinghouse Electric Corp’s Assembly Divisions in Greenwood, South Carolina, and Visalia, California and the Communication System Division of GTE Government Systems Corp, Needham Heights, Massachusetts, have signed up with CAD/CAM Integration for its distributed numerical control and factory communication products: GTE has a $56,000 factory communications contract with the firm for five machining centres and one punch press to be connected to its Series 1000 DNC communication system and for connection to GTE’s Ethernet-based Local Area Network for plant-wide communications; CCI scooped another order worth $51,000 from AT&T and orders for DNC 1000 systems at Westinghouse in Greenwood, South Carolina and Visalia, California.
