OLIVETTI TO LEAD CONSORTIUM BUILDING FACTORY IN THE SOVJET UNION

And Olivetti has a $160m contract to lead a consortium building a factory to produce three-axis numerical control systems near Leningrad in the Soviet Union: the plant will be constructed by the Impresit SpA subsidiary of Fiat SpA, but most of the equipment is to be procured and installed by Olivetti.
