OLIVETTI SAYS TALKS WITH SANTA CRUZ SATISFACTORILY CONCLUDED

Ing C Olivetti & C SpA said that its discussions with Santa Cruz Operation Inc about the future of UnixWare 2 and Santa Cruz’s plans for integration with OpenServer 5.0 had now reached a satisfactory conclusion. The Ivrean said that its existing agreements with Novell Inc for UnixWare 2 and Santa Cruz for Open Server 5.0 would remain. It plans to continue to migrate its Unix System V.4-based systems to UnixWare.
