OLIVETTI ADDS STANDARD COMMUNICATIONS TO 3B1 AND 3B2 UNIX MACHINES

British Olivetti has chosen the Which Computer? Show to announce that the AT&T Olivetti 3B1 and 3B2 supermicros will now support Starlan, from AT&T, and Ethernet TCP/IP local area networking facilities. Previously the 3BNet was the only available networking facility in Europe. The company also says that the 3B1 multi-user version of the Unix PC will now have seven ports instead of three and the 3B2 has had a 142Mb disk added.
