Alarmists say that with the explosion of cellular telephony and the imminent introduction of Personal Communications Networks, not to mention Telepoint, plus the arrival of satellite television, we’re just chucking far too much radiation into our environment, and it ain’t going to do us no good: can’t turn the clock back, we depend on these things too much, so the only solution is to borrow costume ideas from the Middle Ages; some people reckon we’d probably be OK if we simply went back to wearing chastity belts and lead codpieces, but just to be on the safe side, we’d do better to go back to wearing full armour.
