OKI Data Americas has unveiled a new MB200 multifunction products (MFP) series. The MB200 MFP series includes the MB260, MB280 and MB290, which feature print, copy, scan and with fax capability on the MB280 and MB290.
The MB200 MFP series offers a wireless LAN option for printing, scanning or PC-faxing from anywhere in the office, enhancing productivity and office processes. The MB200 series enables users to scan and transport documents as digital files through the USB port located on each model in the series.
The MB200 series features includes: colour and monochrome scanning; document management utilities including PaperPort by Nuance; email and address book maintenance through a QWERTY keyboard; and Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) support for access to corporate email directories (MB290).
The MB280 and MB290 offer fax functionality, which allows users to send documents with improved efficiency. The MB290 model includes scan-to email functionality, scan-to network functionality and LDAP support.
Nick Ciarlante, senior product manager of OKI Data Americas, said: “With the MB200 MFP Series, we have improved efficiency by offering LDAP support on the MB290, providing a 30% increase in speed, while also delivering an extremely cost-effective product through higher yielding consumables, which lead to a more competitive CPP and lower total cost of ownership.”
