OKI HAS STATIC 80C86, 88

By CBR Staff Writer

Good news for portable Personalike makers is that from July, Oki Electric will supply its CMOS 80C86 and 80C88 in static rather than dynamic versions, reducing required standby current to 500 microAmps, and operating clock speed to zero from the minimum 2MHz of dynamics. Oki will offer 5MHz A and 8MHz A-2 versions.
