OKI ELECTRIC INDUSTRIAL AGREES PRICE OF UKP25 FOR TECHNITRON

Oki Electric Industrial Co agreed in principle to pay UKP25m through its Oki Europe subsidiary for the data business of Technitron Plc, the Ascat, Berkshire company that is its biggest European distributor, and sold 140,000 of Oki’s printers last year: the British company was born in 1986 as a UKP20m management buyout from its US parent.
